Our Story
For more than 40 years, we’ve had front-row seats to each other’s lives.
We’ve celebrated victories, navigated challenges, reinvented ourselves more than once, and continued asking the same questions: How do we live more fully? More intentionally? More joyfully?
While our paths looked very different on the surface, they led us toward many of the same discoveries.
Susan explored the worlds of human potential, embodiment, coaching, and transformation.
Kelly followed a path through global finance, education, travel, culture, and the pursuit of beauty and meaning around the world.
Over time, we realized we were arriving at the same truths from different directions.
That realization became WiseWell.
A place where meaningful experiences, thoughtful conversations, personal growth, community, and adventure come together.
Everything we create is rooted in one belief:
Living well is both an art and a science — and it’s better explored together.
Meet Susan
As a child, I felt most at home in motion—on skis, on a horse, in the ocean—anywhere close to nature. Growing up in Colorado as the youngest of six, life moved fast, and it taught me to embrace challenge, curiosity, and joy.
That spirit carried me across the globe—teaching skiing in New Zealand, Argentina, and France—then into an international career and life abroad. I earned an MBA, lived in Mexico City, launched businesses, and along the way became a mother, yoga instructor, 10X Fitness trainer, and holistic coach.

The most meaningful journey, though, has been inward. When I came face to face with aspects of my life that I didn´t want for my daughter, I began looking more deeply, internally. What I discovered changed everything:
- The more we learn to love every part of ourselves—the messy, the growing, the beautiful—the more ease, connection, and joy flows into our lives.
Today, I would describe myself as an explorer—of the world, of human potential, and of what it means to live fully. I now share what I have discovered through talks, workshops, digital programs and with WiseWell—leading retreats, and community circles. Every experience is designed as a collaboration, not a lecture—because each time I teach, I grow alongside the people in the room.
Self-love might sound simple, but it is the most powerful, practical path I know. It’s where peace lives. It’s where expansion begins. It’s where life starts to flow.
WiseWell: Our Origin and Promise
Across different paths, we arrived at the same basic truths:
- There is more to life than meets the eye.
- Energy, intent, and focus shape one’s reality.
- The science behind the mind, body, spirit connection is powerful!
WiseWell is our shared canvas where we blend Susan’s somatic and mindset coaching with Kelly’s global eye for beauty, cultural depth, and impeccable logistics. Together, we design retreats and online experiences that are:
- FUN!
- Intimate and expertly held—so you can relax into the experience.
- Immersive and rich—integrating nature, movement, art, and local connection.
- Transformative and practical—tools you’ll use long after our time together.
For those who join us, this means curated adventures with genuine heart: breathtaking settings, refined comfort, and seamless execution—paired with purposeful programming that restores, expands, and inspires. Come for the beauty and ease; leave with clarity, vitality, and a community that feels like home.
Meet Kelly
feel most alive when I’m witnessing beauty – art and design, architecture, photography, music, food, the natural world, cultural traditions, and words. Ahhhh, words!
With a degree in English Literature, I didn’t plan on a 25-year career in finance or on living in Boston, Tokyo, London, and New York. But that path gave me an extraordinary perspective on the world—and the freedom to travel widely.

At 50, I stepped away from corporate life and leaned into a global bucket list: chasing wild horses in Mongolia, canoeing the Zambezi, wandering geothermal moonscapes in New Zealand, witnessing the melting glaciers of Patagonia, and saying yes to soul-filling detours with friends and family.
In my travels, I was hoping to experience a eureka moment where my life´s true purpose would present itself. Instead, what came years later was the realization that:
- Life’s purpose is to become your most authentic, joyful self.
- People everywhere are more alike than different; peace is possible.
- Education changes lives—and communities—at scale.
- Awe is essential, and the world is full of it.
I now split my time between guiding an education-focused nonprofit in Mexico and curating exquisite, meaningful experiences for people who value depth, beauty, and impact.
